MICO recording glossary

Plain-language definitions used across MicoRec guides, catalog pages and Telegram messages.

MICO ID
The stable numeric identifier shown by MICO. MicoRec prefers it over a changeable nickname.
Public UID
An internal public creator identifier contained in official MICO share links and directory responses.
HLS
HTTP Live Streaming: a playlist and sequence of media segments commonly used by public MICO streams.
FLV
A streaming container that MICO may expose for a live source.
Watchlist
The creator IDs that MicoRec monitors for future eligible public lives.
Recording target
A current eligible Telegram recipient attached to one logical recording.
Closed segment
An immutable media chunk that is complete and safe to upload and verify.
Manifest
The ordered list of committed recording segments sealed when capture ends.
Player cover
A single image attached to a Telegram video for player preview.
Contact sheet
A timestamped grid sampled across the video and delivered in the same Telegram album.
Fan-out
Copying one verified archive album to current eligible recipients without re-uploading the media.
Public archive unlock
A request to deliver an available catalog recording through the bot, protected by rolling limits and duplicate guards.
