iPhone screen recording works for short clips, but it requires the live to stay visible and can capture notifications, interface controls and device audio changes. A remote recorder avoids those constraints for eligible public streams.
Open MicoRec in Telegram
Search for @micorec_bot, press Start and send the numeric MICO ID. Use /rec if the creator is already live or /watch if you want the next public broadcast recorded automatically.
Once the bot confirms a recording, you can lock the phone, switch apps or disconnect from Wi-Fi. The video is not being captured by the iPhone; the remote recorder follows the public MICO source.
Receive the result
When the live ends, MicoRec verifies the completed media. Telegram then displays the MP4 with its player cover and a contact sheet. Tap the video to stream it or use the share menu to save it locally.
Does Low Power Mode stop the recording?
No. Low Power Mode can delay Telegram notifications, but it does not stop a recording that MicoRec already started. Check /status when you return to confirm account activity.
What about iPhone storage?
Your phone uses storage only when Telegram caches or downloads the finished video. You can keep automatic media downloads disabled and choose manually which recording to save.
Only record public content where you have a lawful reason to do so. The service does not unlock private MICO rooms.
